MSF Provides Expert Witness Support
October 26th, 2011 - Montgomery Street Financial Services, LLC (MSF), the San Francisco based specialty investment bank, provided their services for a private equity litigation within the renewable energy space.
Montgomery Street Financial was engaged by a large midwestern law firm to evaluate the likelihood of success of a green energy development stage company in raising equity capital to support its business development plans. The team at MSF reviewed 50,000 pages of documents in a two week span to produce a written report on whether the actions of a law firm had a material impact on the developer from raising equity capital.
MSF was well suited to provide services for this litigation as MSF had raised more than $200 MM of private institutional equity for development-stage companies in the renewable energy space during the time frame under discussion.
