Rick Rodgers is the CEO of Montgomery Street Financial and one of three original founders in 2003. Immediately prior to creating MSF, Rick held a series of senior management positions at Bank of America Leasing & Capital Group, joining in 1983 as Vice President, National Sales Manager. Other positions at Bank of America included: Vice President-Manager of Syndications, Senior Vice President-Chief Marketing Officer, President/CEO – BA Credit Corporation, and Managing Director – Distributions, Sales & Trading. Mr. Rodgers developed the highly successful syndications and debt placement group at BALCG which arranged total structured financings in excess of $ 200 billion over the twenty years under his leadership.
Mr. Rodgers is also a former president of The Leasing Exchange, an industry consortium of twenty five institutions focused on the development and encouragement of secondary market trading for highly structured, long lived instruments.
Mr. Rodgers began his career with IBM Corporation in Chicago as a marketing representative in the Data Products Division. After 5 years at IBM, Mr. Rodgers became the first employee of BRAE Corporation, a transportation equipment management and leasing company based in San Francisco that at one time was ranked # 1 on the Inc. Magazine rankings of fastest growing companies in America. Rick served as BRAE's Director of Marketing. He left BRAE to take on the role of Vice President, TXL Securities Corporation where he was responsible for the creation of both public (S-1) and private (Reg D) leasing partnerships. He was instrumental in the creation and closing of a landmark wind farm financing, Windpower Partners 1981 -1.
Rick has been a professional singer with the Lyric Opera of Chicago and has been married to Susie for more than thirty years with three adult children and six grandchildren. Rick completed his undergraduate degree at Chapman College in Orange, California, completing 126 semester hours at night while on active duty in the USAF and holds an MBA from Northwestern University with concentrations in Marketing and Finance.

Gerhard Hinse is a Managing Director at Montgomery Street Financial and is actively involved in the firm's capital advisory and syndication efforts. Prior to joining MSF, Gerhard worked for Bank of America Leasing & Capital Group in San Francisco for twelve years; in the highly structured products area focusing on secondary market trading, international lease originations, commercial real estate advisory and lease syndications.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Gerhard was Director of Sales Finance at Daimler-Benz Aerospace's Dornier subsidiary in Sterling, VA, arranging double-dip leveraged leases for its US based clients and managing its captive leasing company. Gerhard began his career as a Banking Officer at a predecessor for JP Morgan Chase in Frankfurt, responsible for marketing trade and cross-border finance products in the Middle East.
Gerhard received a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Applied Sciences in Muenster, Germany and an MBA degree with Honors in General Business from City University of Bellevue, WA. Gerhard is married to Monika and has three children.

Allan, Managing Director, has been a finance professional for more than 30 years. His experience includes 12 years with GE Capital, where he held a variety of leadership roles including Managing Director for their Equity Sponsor Finance business, as well as managing an originations team which sourced and closed over $3.5 billion in lease/loan/equity transactions.
Previously, he worked at Citicorp for 10 years, where he led both syndication and origination groups in completing large domestic and foreign tax leases, as well as structured equity financings. Allan began his career with Coopers Lybrand in Boston.
Allan holds a BA in Accounting from Northeastern University, Boston, MA and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. Al is married to Saralyn and has two adult children.

Ali joined MSF as a Managing Director in 2010 and has more than 17 years of project and structured finance experience.
Prior to joining MSF, Ali founded AIM Capital Ventures LLC, a boutique firm focused on providing capital raising and strategic advisory services to companies in the renewable energy space. His solar clients have included utility-scale project developers such as Cleantech America/Meridian Energy, NextLight/First Solar, and RES America.
Prior to founding AIM Capital, Ali worked for GE Capital for as Vice President, Corporate Lending, managing a $1.5 billion portfolio. He closed more than $1 billion in new financings and was involved in several loan workouts/DIP financings, including the $7 billion DIP financing for Calpine.
Before joining GE Capital, Ali worked in energy related project financing capacities first as a VP/Principal, Global Project Finance at Bank of America in San Francisco, Hong Kong & New York for 10 years, followed by 3 years at GFP Advisors as Principal, Project & Structured Finance. During this time, Ali worked on projects around the world for project sponsors such as ABB, Bechtel, Calpine, Conoco, Enron, Gradient Resources, Petrobras, and TransAlta.
Ali received dual Bachelors in Physics and Economics from University of California at Berkeley.
Steven Cohn, Managing Director

Steve Cohn joined MSF to work on energy projects, partnerships, and leveraged leases beginning in 2008. For twenty years, Steve was a Senior Managing Director at Babcock & Brown and co-managed the structuring and financial analysis group.
Prior to Babcock, Steve was a Senior Analyst at Matrix Corporation. Steve developed the tax equity strategy employed by Babcock and remains an advisor to Advantage for Analysts on new programs developed including the development of Pay-As-You-Go structures for the monetization of tax equity. Steve holds a BS in Engineering from the University of California at Davis and a MS from Carnegie Mellon.

Immediately prior to joining MSF, Katie was Executive Director/ Manager Pricing-Structured Products, CIBC World Markets, based in New York City. While at CIBC, Katie managed the analytical efforts for advisory syndication and investments for commercial clients while optimizing to different tax counsel requirements and structures.
Katie began her career at Bank of America Leasing & Capital Group where she rose to Vice President. Katie holds a BA from the University of California , Berkeley where she earned Phi Beta Kappa Honors. Katie is an author who recently was awarded the MSF Book Writer's Award for 2010 for her novel, My Sister's Brain.

Justin Hammar joined MSF as a Principal in 2008. He comes most recently from a career in executive recruiting at Essential Solutions, Inc., a premier executive search firm for venture capital firms in the Silicon Valley area. Prior to ESI, Mr. Hammar worked at a startup in the semiconductor equipment purchasing industry as a database administrator and project manager. Justin has also held a number of IT consulting positions for various small businesses. Mr. Hammar received his BS degree in physics from Santa Clara University. Justin is married and has a young son.

Julie Kingston joined MSF in 2005 from K-LOVE Radio where she was the Manager of Leasing, negotiating contracts for its nationwide radio distributed programming. Prior to K-LOVE, Julie was employed at CB Richard Ellis where she worked on the KPMG National Account Team, responsible for managing leasing operations in the Western United States. Julie earned her BA at DePauw University and completed coursework at Pepperdine University, and is the mother of a toddler son.

Stacey Wiegandt has over 15 years of experience in the financial sector. Over the past 3 years, she was the Regional Director of The Rorex Group, an executive recruiting firm specializing in the financial sector. From its inception, Stacey was instrumental in developing recruitment training procedures. Prior to Rorex, Stacey was an independent mortgage banker/broker for seven years. During one four year period, Stacey's loan volume exceeded $500MM. Prior to her becoming an entrepreneur, Stacey served as a National Portfolio Manager for Transamerica Financial Services, covering three major brands and their national dealer base.
Stacey began her career at Household Corporation where she held the positions of Regional Territory Manager, Branch Sales Manager, and Account Executive. Stacey graduated with a B.S. in Psychology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Stacey is married and has a son.
